Turn every car you take in into a live online parts catalog.
YardForge gives your yard two things at once: a private inventory dashboard for your staff, and a public parts website your customers can actually search. Add a vehicle, decode the VIN, work through the generated checklist, and publish what you have.

The loop
Four steps from a car on the lot to a part on your website.
This is the whole product. Everything else — promotions, policies, requests — hangs off these four steps.
- Step 1
Add the car, decode the VIN
Type a VIN and the NHTSA vPIC service fills in year, make, model, engine, body style, and drivetrain. Every field stays editable — you correct anything the decoder got wrong before you save.
- Step 2
Get a generated parts checklist
A configurable template keyed to body style, drivetrain, fuel type, and door count writes out the parts that car normally yields — powertrain, body, lighting, glass, interior, electrical.
- Step 3
Inspect and price each part
Every generated part starts at Needs inspection and stays off your website. A person sets condition, location, and price, and only then can it be published.
- Step 4
Publish to your own storefront
Published parts appear on a mobile-first site with your name, colors, hours, address, and directions link — searchable by year, make, model, category, and price.
What you get
Everything a yard needs to run inventory in public.
Parts templates you control
Templates live in the database, not in code. Adjust which parts a pickup yields versus a sedan, set base prices, and change them without a deploy.
Suggested pricing, clearly labelled
Rules use category, vehicle age, condition, tested status, and your own markup. Both the suggestion and your final asking price are stored, along with the rule that produced it.
Availability requests, not orders
A customer picks parts, chooses pickup or shipping, acknowledges your policies, and submits. Nothing is reserved and no inventory moves until your staff confirms.
Policies attached where they matter
Warranty, return, and as-is policies apply yard-wide, per category, or per part, and show up on the part page and in the request flow.
Promotions that actually display
Percentage, fixed-dollar, coupon, day-of-week, date-range, flash, and featured deals — each with an optional public banner on your storefront.
Built for the phone in the yard
Counter staff and customers are both on phones. Large controls, tap-to-call, get-directions, and card layouts on small screens; tables where a desktop earns them.
What this is not.
You are going to find this out in week one anyway, so here it is up front. These are deliberate boundaries, not missing features we are hiding.
No payments
There is no checkout, no card capture, no deposits, and no refunds. Requests are conversations that your staff finishes by phone or at the counter.
No guaranteed fitment
Interchange and OEM numbers are shown as a guide. There is no licensed Hollander or ACES/PIES feed behind them, and we never claim a part is guaranteed to fit.
No live inventory feed
Listings reflect what your staff recorded, not a live count on the shelf. Availability is confirmed by a person before any sale.

Questions yards actually ask.
- Does the VIN decode tell you which parts are on the car?
- No. A VIN decode returns build attributes. The parts checklist is generated from a template keyed to those attributes, and it describes possible inventory — not confirmed, undamaged, or legal-to-sell parts.
- Can a generated part end up on my website by mistake?
- No. Generated parts are created as Needs inspection and the database itself refuses to publish a part that has not been inspected with a real condition and price.
- Do my customers need an account?
- No. Anyone can browse your storefront and submit an availability request with a name plus an email address or phone number.
- What happens to another yard’s data?
- Every record carries a tenant id and isolation is enforced in the database with row-level security, not by hiding rows in the interface.
Put one car in and see the whole thing work.
Sign up, add a VIN, generate the checklist, inspect three parts, and open your storefront. It takes about ten minutes.
